More Than a Retreat
The Amazon is not simply the setting for this journey. It is its source.
During seven days, you will learn about rainforest plants, walk through the jungle with local guides, encounter Amazonian traditions and take part in carefully facilitated traditional plant practices.
The purpose is not to promise a cure or a guaranteed transformation. We create a respectful space in which people can slow down, listen, learn and explore their relationship with nature and themselves.
Every person's experience is different.

Participation in any traditional practice is never automatic or compulsory. Eligibility must be assessed individually, and participants may decide not to take part.
About the Traditional Practices
Ayahuasca
Ayahuasca has a long history of traditional use among Amazonian communities. At Into The Amazon, it is presented as part of a living cultural tradition. We do not describe it as a guaranteed treatment, and we do not promise particular visions, revelations or results.
Participation depends on prior screening, preparation and the decision of the responsible practitioner.
Rapé
Rapé is a traditional preparation used in different forms by a number of Indigenous Amazonian peoples. Its meaning, composition and method of use can differ between traditions. The team will explain which preparation is being offered, where it comes from and how it is traditionally understood.
Kambo
Kambo is an intensive traditional practice and is not suitable for everyone. It will only be included after Into The Amazon has established a separate safety protocol, clear eligibility criteria and a qualified person responsible for the practice. Participation will always be optional and subject to individual assessment.
Safety and Responsibility
Traditional plant practices can involve significant physical and psychological effects. Safety begins before a participant arrives in Peru.
Before confirming participation, guests may be required to:

- —Participate in a private screening conversation
- —Follow preparation instructions
- —Obtain medical advice when appropriate
- —Confirm that they understand the nature and possible risks of the program

Some health conditions and medications may make participation inappropriate. Being accepted for the journey does not guarantee participation in every ceremony. The responsible team may recommend that a participant postpone, skip or stop a practice when safety requires it.
Final eligibility requirements and emergency procedures will be published before paid reservations are opened.
