The 7-Day Journey

A slow, deliberate journey through primary Amazonian forest. Seven days from Iquitos and back — with local guides, plant specialists, and time to actually be in the forest.

Iquitos → Program location

Arrival and Welcome

  • Pickup in Iquitos and transportation to the program location
  • Meeting the local team
  • Review of the week's program and safety briefing
  • Personal check-in
  • Shared welcome meal

We meet you at the agreed location in Iquitos and travel together to the program location.

After settling in, you will meet the local team and learn about the place, the program and the traditions that guide our work.

This is a day for arriving, resting and becoming familiar with the environment.

Program location — jungle

Meeting the Living Forest

  • Guided jungle walk with local guides
  • Introduction to selected Amazonian plants
  • Plant bath
  • Rapé ceremony
  • First ayahuasca ceremony

After breakfast, we begin with a guided walk through the jungle.

Local guides introduce selected plants, their place in the rainforest and the traditional knowledge connected with them. The purpose is not only to identify plants but also to understand the relationship between the forest and the people who live within it.

The day ends with a rapé ceremony and the first ayahuasca ceremony.

Reflection and the Second Ceremony

  • Rest and group sharing after the first ceremony
  • Lunch and quiet time
  • Plant bath
  • Second ayahuasca ceremony

The morning is reserved for rest and a group conversation about the previous night.

No one is required to describe anything they wish to keep private. The conversation is intended to help participants feel supported and grounded.

The evening brings the second ayahuasca ceremony.

Rest and Personal Guidance

  • A quieter day without an ayahuasca ceremony
  • Individual conversation with the traditional practitioner
  • Rest, reflection and contact with the natural surroundings
  • Optional group conversation in the evening

This is a quieter day without an ayahuasca ceremony.

Each participant will have an opportunity for an individual conversation with the traditional practitioner. The remaining time is intended for rest, reflection and contact with the natural surroundings.

Returning to the Ceremony

  • Quiet morning and lunch
  • Plant bath
  • Personal check-in before the evening
  • Third ayahuasca ceremony

After a day of rest, the journey continues with another evening ceremony.

The morning is unhurried. In the afternoon, each participant has a personal check-in before the evening.

Program location — local community

Community, Culture and the Final Ceremony

  • Morning group conversation
  • Meeting with local community members
  • Presentation of local art and crafts
  • Fourth and final ayahuasca ceremony

The final full day brings greater attention to the people and culture of the Amazon.

Local community members will be invited to share their art, crafts, stories or traditions in a form agreed upon with them. Their participation is treated as meaningful work and cultural exchange, not as a tourist performance.

The day closes with the fourth and final ayahuasca ceremony.

Closing and Return to Iquitos

  • Final group conversation
  • Closing meeting with the team
  • Transportation back to Iquitos

After breakfast, we meet for the final group conversation.

We close the journey, discuss the return to everyday life and travel back to Iquitos.

The journey ends in Iquitos, but reflection and integration may continue long after the return.
